DO YOU KNOW JESUS
The Truth Is…
And it shall come to pass that whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved!
Got questions about salvation?
The truth is, Salvation is an easy and attainable process. The Bible is filled with God’s instruction for obtaining Salvation. Acts chapter 2 reveals the Truth about salvation and unlocks the door to the mysteries of God’s promises.
What is salvation?
Salvation means to be rescued or delivered. A belief in your heart and a confession made with your mouth that Jesus is Lord provides forgiveness and safety from the wages of sin (Romans 6:23)
Follow these 7 easy steps to receive the blessings and protection of salvation through Christ Jesus.
1) The Truth is…Repent (Acts 2:38). You must first call upon the name of Jesus and ask Him to come into your heart. The Holy Spirit will fill your heart and produce salvation which will provide protection and deliverance from whatever issues that plague our earthly lives; for example: bad habits, evil thoughts & intentions, and stumbling blocks that constantly cause you grief.
2) The Truth is…Be Baptized (Acts 2:38).
Baptism symbolizes that you have decided to make a U-turn towards a life with God.
3) The Truth is…Fellowship (Acts 2:42, 46). You need a church. You don’t have to do it alone. You need a strong support group. Surround yourself with people working towards the same spiritual goals as yourself.
4) The Truth is…Read Your Word Daily (Acts 2:42).
Set aside some time in your daily schedule to read God’s Word.
You can begin reading your Bible with the passages given in this pamphlet.
5) The Truth is…Develop a Prayer Life (Acts 2:42). Prayer is how we communicate with God. In order to have a successful relationship with Him, we must talk to Him regularly.
6) The Truth is…Give (Acts 2:44, 45). As Christians, we should share our earthly resources. By giving of our time, our talents, and our wealth, we are able to help build God’s Kingdom on earth.
7) The Truth is…Enjoy your New Life in Christ (Acts 2:46, 47). Contrary to popular belief, a Christian life is not one of bondage but of liberty. Be joyful, have fellowship with your new Christian family, and praise God for your newness of life.
